These gaiz are basically what my posts will usual consist of, with the compulsory fangirl-ing and bitching/moaning about the whole JE corporation and just problems I cannot be bothered to solve.

Mainly stuff I don't want/post on my LJ.

On my Summer break currently and I have one more year till life at University. Still have to write my draft personal statement...

Quite the lazy git.

Let's begin on the subject of 嵐 since I already posted a pic of them (heh heh heh...).

I was quite the hater of pop music. Don't really understand why thinking about it now... But since things where changing, I decided to branch out.

I think I got to know of them through last.fm; browsing through neighbours music taste and recommendations, even though I was a hardcore fan of the j-rock/vk scene back then.

I guess it's also due to watching j-dramas as well and I had that oh-so-typical crush on MatsuJun (lolololoolol) and Sho.

I downloaded a copy of 'Time' and I'm guessing I quite liked 'Love So Sweet' since I listened to it over 300 times, which I don't remember happening, before I began to delve into the rest of their discography.

Since completely getting over the whole vk/j-rock-is-totes-amazing-! phase (like soooo many fans do), started to get  into the pop scene. I think it's partly because last year, I had a major breakdown and the sort of music was not helping me get through it (sounds silly, I know) so I thought all this cheesy-happy-happy-shite would lift me out of this depressing hell hole, which I guess has done it job quite well. I mean now I've began to trust people and found friends that I can trust my life with (continue this whine-y, emo-ness on a later post sometime).

I'm enjoying my life. I've realised what I want to do with my life and planned ahead. I would've not be arsed or given any care for my future since I couldn't give a toss what would happen to me if I thought about this last year or the years previous to that.

So yes, began to listen to 嵐 more since last year as I finished my last year of compulsory education and left that shithole of a school. Got to know them more as I previously had no idea who the other two members (Ohno and Aiba) were since I only recognised the others through dramas which resulted them having no significant place in my mind. Well, a lot has changed since then.

After listening to 'truth', as it was their most popular song on last.fm, I started to watch 'Maou' since it was the theme tune for the drama. I remember my Uncle telling about the drama when it came out, but I couldn;t give a care about it since I had no idea who the cast were. Saw the drama from beginning to end and it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't put it  on my all time favourites. Thought it did allow me to get to know about the whole JE monopoly game more.

I don't know how I did it, but I eventually knew all the members and their personalities within weeks. Didn't watch their PVs much, but did watch VS 嵐(though I do find it to be their weakest show out of them all. don't like Shigare either) quite a bit :D.

Now, I absolutely ADORE 相葉雅紀. His laugh is just so infectious. Gah, his smile is just amazing. Yeah he's my favourite hee. I cannot believe that he was an unimportant member, what was I thinking?! idk, but like since their popularity has BOOMED, he's lost quite a bit of weight; not like he wasn't thin enough to begin with, but at least he had round cheeks when he smiled and not a skin-stretching-smile he has now :(.

That's all for now. More ramblings about 嵐 later and off to focus watching 'Sherlock' on BBC. Benedict Cumberbatch is hella amazing <3!
