So, 1st year is over now. Finished exams and handed in all my assignments so yeaaaahhh.
Fucked up my speaking but did well in my writing and ok in my listening so all is somewhat good.
Now got loads of stuff to plan.

Haircut tomorrow (soooo looking forward to it), new glasses (bloody arses said I had to wait until AUGUST), clothes shopping for HK weather (gonna take me forever to buy shit), and general mindless shopping for nail polish 8D.

But so glad to be back now. I've missed just about everything here.

My new favourite song :D

yeaahhhhboiii.
Finally got my TL t-shirt which I'm gonna wear tomorrow :B.

So every plan I had for the Summer is being called off because: 1) summer school in Japan is gonna cost £1.5k+, 2) Tickets to Dreamhack travelwise is ~£500
soooo not going out the country :\
But mother said we might be going to HK, but that's SSOOOOOOO unlikely.

SCREW TOMORROW.

Just woken up from a dream after falling asleep at 7am (woke up at 2am after "sleeping" at 10:40pm) and I seriously need to document this.

So, successfully handed all my work in on time (to varying standards) and have seriously felt the after effects of it. The weekend just gone, I slept through most of it. I planned to go out on Saturday to buy shit and pay rent, which of course didn't happen. I now have to go out tomorrow to do it as well as picking up a package at the other end of town -____-.

Had a test yesterday on Japanese history and cultural keywords in which I winged it completely. Only remembered the timeline, the dates and main events. meh, hopefully will pass but it's only 10% of final mark of the year in which it doesn't count towards my degree...

Anyhoo, I've been thinking of going to Dreamhack in the Summer with my bro cos I really want to go to a gaming tournament this year, especially if MLG isn't coming to the UK this year.
But bro most likely has exams during it because it's in mid June :<.
Today though, we got told that around that time, there's a partner institute in Hyougo that is accepting female students (because it's a women's university) in the summer to be part of its summer school thing, which sounds amazing. It's about 3 weeks long and you get to go to a variety of classes depending on your interests. The uni there covers quite a bit including: accommodation, travel expenses during your time there, food, field trips, and some stuff I can't remember. It says that you need to cover your own flights and stuff but apparently my uni is gonna cover some of it as well.
The flight costs is what gets me because there just so bloody expensive and especially during summer. But I would really like to go because I seriously need practicing my language and not be afraid to use it. I am so scared of offending someone because I didn't use the correct grammar structure/words towards them.

ARGH, but going to Dreamhack would be as nice as going to Japan in the summer :>. Get to meet so many players and casters :D

FABULOUS!
Just read that B2ST are gonna do a World Tour including a date in the UK, but tbh, I really don't care. I like their music, not because they're pretty guys singing and dancing to tunes I like. I was reading some of the interviews that GOMTV did for the GSL Code S (THE tournament for Stacraft 2) participants and near the end of the last interview with Jung Min (Zenio) they ask him about his favourite artist,

You are known to be a big fan of 2NE1. If 2NE1 were to become a GSL girl-group, would that positively affect your performance?
-It wouldn’t really matter. I like 2NE1 for their music only.

(GSL girl-groups are essentially girl kpop groups singing before the matches/cheering for players at the tournament) That really made me smile because it's been so long that I've heard/met anyone say that about music, especially k-pop groups. I have so much respect for the guy right now.

I'm not sure if it's just me being a lazy shit but I just cannot be arsed with gigs anymore. I think one of the main reasons is because I fucking hate kids at gigs and screaming, crazy-as-fuck fangirls. The whole sweaty and humid-ness of it also puts me off, urgh.

I say that though, but I would happily go to a flumpool or ONE OK ROCK gig because of the atmosphere :>. though I fucking hate the "hand choreography" shit that Japanese fans do. I like to have the freedom to express myself by going crazy as fuck and not follow some hand movements they like to do.

but meh, all these gigs that I do want to go to will always be in London and travel is fucking expensive. I hate fishing out for adult tickets, especially with train fares =____=

So halfway through my first week at uni and I am like gonna be so fucking exhausted by the end of next week.
I have currently:

  • 1 reflective writing to finish (about 1500 words to go)
  • 4 tasks for Japanese (sorted out two, maybe three)
  • one whole portfolio for fucking HOW 2 RITE AN EZZAY DERP.
Soo, went on a bit of a spree to take my mind off of it a bit.

Yumcha was good today, except we weren't there for very long. Would've liked to sat down a bit longer but bitch had to go to work so had to leave earlier.

Tomorrow night, parents are taking me to a Japanese restaurant so that I can have a chance to practice my Japanese (especially when I've hardly revised any Japanese during this holiday). Can't wait, 'cept it's my dad's friends who invited him out so might be a bit awkward, but got my mum at least.

So like I previously mentioned that lolita isn't making me as happy anymore, well I just went and bought: a dress, pair of boots and a coat. got my eye on another two dresses and see what the sale is like for Innocent World and Angelic Pretty, ahahaa. Yeah...

Today didn't to much. I'm slowly catching up on Criminal Minds because I've completely abandoned all the T.V series I used to follow because of sheer laziness. Once I've caught up on it, I think I'm gonna start watching House again. Currently on the first few episodes of season six of Criminal Minds so don't have too many episodes to catch up on.

I also played some Starcraft: Brood War with my brother. Was so fun since I always play alone. We had some 2v2s and 3v3s with AIs (cannot control the skill levels of the AI so it's pretty difficult for us as we aren't great at the game).

My brother plays Zerg, which are the bug-like aliens in the game and I play Protoss who are futuristic aliens that use advance technology.
